The robotics club is focused on developing future engineers, along with their interpersonal skills; these skills include time management, flexibility, conflict resolution, and teamwork.
The club’s goal is to design and build a robot to compete in the VEX Starstruck competition using VEX robotics parts. Due to the complexity of the robots themselves, students will need to meet after school on Monday’s in room 4-111 from 2:50 - 5:00. |
VEX EDRIn the VEX Competitions, presented by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation, teams of students are tasked with designing and building a robot to play against other teams in a game-based engineering challenge. Classroom STEM concepts are put to the test on the playing field as students learn lifelong skills in teamwork, leadership, communications, and more.
